A Blog by Eva Stewart - Work Experience and the Elizabeth Street Party
On Monday 8th June I joined Wellbelove Quested for a week of work experience. It has been a brilliant week led by a team who are some of the most charming, welcoming and down-to-earth people I have ever met. I could not have asked for a more perfect environment for an insight into the world of estate agency. Each day I was set new tasks, went out on viewings and guided with enthusiastic support.
This week fortunately coincided with the annual Elizabeth Street party, held on the Grosvenor Estate on Wednesday 10th June. Wellbelove Quested hosted a small gathering with drinks and nibbles for friends and clients before joining the buzzing crowds filling Elizabeth Street around the corner from the office.
In order to enter the street party, we gave a donation which went towards ‘Farms for City Children’, aiming to give urban children opportunities to work and live on the farms in the British countryside.
This delightful sunny evening was full of chatter, laughter, a few glasses of fizz and the inviting smells from delicious food stalls. As the event proceeded, the buzzing and merry atmosphere elevated and we were surrounded by lively music and suberb entertainment. The event was a great success and a big thank you to all the organizers; hopefully the party managed to raise a fantastic sum for the chosen charity.
